This is EXCELLENT. Your shading is great - I must say that I like this one far more than your cgs, although those are cool too; but I think you've really improved here. Keep experimenting with grayscales - the style suits your characters and what, I think, you're trying to convey.

Thank you.. heh traditional can be a lot easier to do subtle work with than with digital

but yeah there's a scale of markers in gray from 10% to pure black .. 10 markers for shading

I can't wait to go back to Nasco and get more markers for better coloring
